About me
I found it always easier to solve problems in the field of technical, logical and media-related science. This interest in logic and media was the reason why I started studying "computer science in media" at the University of Applied Science (HTWK) in Leipzig. There I learned the basics of computer science, but I also got to know media production, which attracted my creative site and I felt engaged to explore this further, but I was unsure about how.
After finishing my bachelor thesis, I felt limited and unsatisfied with the options on the job market. I decided to do a master of science in media systems at Bauhaus University Weimar with the focus on research in the area of information systems and graphical systems. There I discovered my passion for the HCI research area. I expanded my knowledge in user interaction through an exchange year at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. I took courses with focus on interaction design and affective interaction. This resulted in my master thesis, which presents one way of involving body movements in emotional communication between friends.
Currently I am looking for an opportunity where I can apply my design and prototyping skills in an area where user-centered design is highly valued.
